CV: Welcome
Kyle A. Hammonds studies communication, media, and culture. He is especially interested fan communication - particularly in the ways that interpretive communities use meta-talk about popular texts to further socio-communicative goals like stratification, stigmatization, or other forms of value-sharing. For example: Kyle's dissertation project encompassed the aforementioned focus by studying how online movie fandoms featuring explicitly white nationalist views apply film criticism to both reinforce and spread their ideological position.
